Enjoying a long weekend with a second Saturday, Mahesh Babu's latest movie Maharshi has minted crores in the first four days taking the share tally to 50+ crores. But what matters most to the film is this second week as it has to collect 50 more crores to become a safe venture.
This Monday it is going to be the real acid test for the film as there are no government holidays barring summer holidays for schools and colleges. While trade reports are indicating that the Morning Shows and Matinees are already finding decent occupancy, the film should find housefulls throughout the week.
And then, as couple of other films are releasing this Friday, the occupancy rate throughout weekdays will decide how many theatres will retain Maharshi post first week. Amidst all these hurdles, the film should find repeat audiences to hit it big and thumping.
As the real game is on, if Mahesh surpasses 100 crore mark easily, then he will join that mighty club of 100+ gang alongside Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan who did the unthinkable with Khaidi No 150 and Rangasthalam.
