Within hours after Laxxmi Bomb poster release, the filmmaker Raghava Lawrence has made a big shocking announcement on Saturday. He has declared that he will be walking out of the film as its director. According to a social media post by Lawrence, the makers didn't pass any information to him (director) about the poster release in prior and he was informed by a third person. Being an experienced technician and noted director in South, he felt disrespected and announced his exit from the remake.
Besides briefing his version in a two-page statement, he tweeted: "Dear Friends and Fans. In this world, more than money and fame, self-respect is the most important attribute to a person's character. So I have decided to step out of the project, #Laxmmibomb Hindi remake of Kanchana".
The dance turned cum filmmaker further said: "I can hold back the script because I haven't signed any agreement regarding the film, but I won't do it because it is not professional." So, he's ready to give the script to Akshay Kumar out of his respect for the star hero. In the meanwhile, the makers of Laxmmi Bomb announced the theatrical release date of the film as 5th June, 2020. So, it remains to be seen if the makers choose a new filmmaker or they convince Lawrence to be part of it.
