The trailer of 'Adithya Varma' is trending on YouTube at #1 and it already clocked 5.5 million views in the last three days. But still, this Tamil remake of "Arjun Reddy" is not pleasing Telugu audiences. Wonder why?
Apparently, this remake, re-directed by original Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's associate Girisayya after the exit of Bala from the film, has star hero Vikram's son Dhruv debuting as a hero. And it looks like the young hero is the real reason for Telugu cinema lovers not getting connected to the trailer.
While Dhruv did everything to match Arjun Reddy character, the fact is that somehow his age and maturity level did not fit for someone who has done his MBBS and MD and working as a doctor cum surgeon at a hospital. Also, that 'attitude' is not very convincing, we have to say.
Simply put, Dhruv is too young to play this kind of role as it appears from the trailer of the film. However, Tamil audiences seemed to have liked him and due to the obvious comparison to Vijay Deverakonda's original in every frame might be the biggest reason for Telugu audience' dissatisfaction for Aditya Varma.
