Week by week, new films are coming with a hope to do well but none are up to the mark. After how Majili and Jersey along with Chitralahari entertained the audiences, Tollywood is still not able to find that small budgeted movie that will entertain them a lot.
Perhaps that is the reason why Mahesh Babu, Allari Naresh and Pooja Hegde starrer Maharshi is still doing well with more than 50% occupancy rate in theatres. Even today's releases like Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, Mallesham, Voter and First Rank Raju got only average reviews from most critics and audiences. While Agent SSA is a bit better, it might not cater to all the quarters. Other films are partly good and only interest in certain sections of audiences.
Due to this fact, Maharshi will get one more week time until other releases like Kalki, Brochervarevarura and Burrakatha hit the cinemas. If they attract a bit, then Maharshi might lose out some theatres. Else, the film will get much collection and attention until Samantha's Oh Baby comes up on July 5th.
That's pure luck for Maharshi as whatever is getting is the last minute lottery for the total collection.
