Word is everywhere that happening villain and character artist Jagapathi Babu got replaced with Prakash Raj in Mahesh Babu's upcoming film Sarileru Neekevvaru. One wonders why is this happened, as Jagapathi starred with the superstar in super hit films like Srimanthudu and Maharshi.

Reports are coming that Anil Ravipudi has narrated something while getting Jagapathi sign this project, but the role he's filming on location is something else. Upset with the way his role got trimmed and got limited, Jagapathi is said to have taken his concerns to the director, but to no avail. That has hurt his ego big time it looks like.

As the role is neither being re-written nor getting any other upliftment in the film, Jagapathi felt that there is no point in doing it, even though he remains one of the highest-paid actors of Sarileru Neekevvaru. Finally, he's said to have walked out of it, and now Prakash Raj is roped in for the same role.

Featuring Mahesh and comeback starlet Vijayasanthi in crucial roles, Sarileru Neekevvaru is opting at Sankranthi release, so the makers want no troubles slow them down, hence they went ahead with Prakash Raj, says a source.
