Story Behind Bunny-Trivikram's 'Ala Vaikuntapuram Lo'

Story Behind Bunny-Trivikram's 'Ala Vaikuntapuram Lo'

Amidst the rumors about the title of Allu Arjun's next flick being directed by Trivikram, many felt that the director is not going to follow his 'A' sentiment for the movie as he didn't follow by Bunny's earlier films, Julayi and S/o Satyamurthy.

But now, it is being heard that Trivikram has pulled even Bunny into the 'A' series by naming the film #AA19 as 'Ala Vaikuntapuram lo'. Though they have zeroed on Vaikuntapuramlo earlier, we hear that the director insisted on coming up with 'Ala' as a prefix to make it rhyme with his previous film titles including  Athadu, Attarintiki Daredi, A..Aa, Agnyatahavasi and Aravinda Sametha.

Cut to more details, we hear that actually, Trivikram had a Bhagavatham inspired story of Lord Krishna and his brother Balarama is being dealt with a modern touch inside this film. Hence he took the famous like 'Ala Vaikuntapuram lo' from Mahakavi Pothana's Bhagavatham, which somewhat translates to, 'in the heaven'.

It looks like one among Navdeep or Sushant are playing the role of Bunny's brother in this film, while Pooja Hegde and Nivetha Pethuraj are the leading ladies. The film is set for January 2020 release.
