Valmiki-Gang Leader Clash: Harish Shankar Takes Full Control

The makers of Harish Shankar's Valmiki, starring Varun Tej and Pooja Hegde, were the first to lock September 13th for the film's release. But due to Saaho's postponement, Nani's Gang Leader was pushed from August 30th to September 13th.

It's been said that even though Gang Leader makers requested Valmiki makers to postpone their film by a week, for which Harish Shankar didn't agree. Even Valmiki's producers Ram and Gopi Achanta cautioned Harish against the clash with Gang Leader. But Harish has taken over the charge and didn't budge even then.

Harish insists that Valmiki will rule the roost in mass areas since Gang Leader is a class film. Harish has also taken over the promotions and launched Jarra Jarra song yesterday, after the teaser.

Apparently, it is heard that there has been a cold vibe between Harish and Valmiki producers, the Achanta brothers. For Valmiki, Harish didn't take any remuneration but only took the rights for a couple of areas. So even the producers are in a helpless situation. We will have to see if this clash will prove detrimental to any of the two movies eventually.
