After Allu Arjun, This Young Hero Too Failed

When it comes to making films that are themed on army and soldiers, somehow Telugu directors and writers are using overt creativity that the audiences can't even buy and believe.

Recently when Allu Arun came with Naa Peru Surya, the film has sunk without any trace. Some sections of the audiences complained that the director lacked clarity over how soldiers work inside the army and showcasing an ordinary solider as a larger than life hero is not impressive for them. And now, the film Operation Goldfish also looked similar.

With borrowed ideals from films like Main Hoon Na and others, the film deals with exodus of Kashmir Pandits, terrorism in Kashmir and how a sincere young officer takes care of it. Firstly such young officers get nothing to do big than following superior-orders while dealing a vast problem. And all other heroics surrounding Aadi Saikumar sounded unbelievable.

Rather weaving stories that need larger context, which our filmmakers are unable to craft well due to their lack of understanding, why don't we make movies around small incidents? Forget over-the-board heroism when making films on soldiers, because they are real heroes.
