NTR's Yamadonga Gets A Tamil Release After 12 Yrs

After Student No 1 and the then industry hit Simhadri, successful actor-filmmaker duo NTR and Rajamouli teamed up with each other for the third time in 2007 and the result was the mass hit Yamadonga. After sporting a plump physique for several years, NTR underwent a drastic makeover and turned ultra slim for the film.

Yamadonga's plot is almost similar to NTR's legendary grandfather NT Rama Rao's classic socio-fantasy hit, Yamagola. Now, after 12 years since its release, Yamadonga is being dubbed in Tamil as Vijayan. Sudiksha Entertainment banner is releasing the Tamil version and senior Tamil writer ARK Ramaraja has penned the dialogues and songs.

Yamadonga's Tamil presenter seems to be banking on the craze Rajamouli now has across Tamil Nadu, and that's why he isn't thinking twice to dub the film even after more than a decade of its release. The film also has Priyamani and Mamata Mohandas as female leads and music by MM Keeravani.
