Rumour: Dil Raju to Back out from Ala Vaikunthapurrammuloo?

According to grapevine, producer-distributor Dil Raju, who is distributing both Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru and Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurrammuloo in Nizam, may opt out of distributing Allu Arjun's film in Nizam. Owing to unforeseen conditions where Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurrammuloo advanced its release from Jan 12th to Jan 10th giving a shock to Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru that is scheduled for Jan 11th release, Dil Raju is said to be caught in huge dilemma.

If Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurrammuloo is advanced to Jan 10th, Mahesh Babu and Anil Sunkara are keen to release Sarileru Neekevvaru on Jan 10th as well and clash with Allu Arjun's film. This is going to affect the trade. So, industry big wigs are trying their best to persuade the producers of both the biggies that are releasing this Sankranthi.  Initially, both the films had announced Jan 12th as the release date. But to avoid clash and to avoid revenue loss to distributors, it was mutually agreed to release with one day gap. While Bunny had stuck to Jan 12th date, Mahesh has advanced to Jan 11th. Ala Vaikunthapurrammuloo team is now citing huge pressure from distributors from outside where Sunday release would be difficult. Hence, they are toying with the idea of moving to Jan 10th. This in turn is complicating the whole issue. Dil Raju, who is one of the producers of Sarileru Neekevvaru, and distributing the both the films is caught off guard.

In case Dil Raju backs out from distributing Ala Vaikunthapurrammuloo, Allu Arjun's Geetha Arts is all set to clinch the distribution rights and planning for a wide release for Sankranthi. Geetha Arts is well prepared for any kind of decision. One has to wait and watch, how the whole issue is going to turn in the coming days and what are the twists that's gonna take place. Even, industry big wigs are all keeping their fingers crossed over the clash of Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu.
