Sarileru, Alaa.. Behind #RRR Postponement?

Despite the fact that #RRR is progressing in a brisk pace with all the schedules happening as planned and none of the actors taking breaks due to injuries like it happened in the case of Baahubali, the film is still postponed. What is the main reason for #RRR to leave July 2020 and settle for January 8th, 2021?

Some insiders have revealed that actually the super success of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Sarileru Neekevvaru has propelled DVV Danayya and SS Rajamouli to take a call on #RRR's date. Unlike Baahubali, this film is coming only in one part and it has a huge investment of nearly 300 crores to be recovered. For that to happen, they need a date and period that could give them maximum.

After the super success of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Sarileru Neekevvaru, it has come out that Sankranthi holidays are always the best bet for Telugu films. If they club it with a solo release date and ticket hikes, surely the film will be getting 200+ crores share easily from the Telugu circuits alone. Thinking on these lines, #RRR makers might have shifted their movie to January 2021.

Featuring Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morisson and Ajay Devgan in the leads, #RRR is hitting cinemas on 8th January 2021.
