Goa Government Puts Check To Puri Jagan And Others

Director Puri Jagan loves to do two things in his films. Either he goes to Bangkok for writing and shooting, or goes to Goa for the same. But in some of his films, Goa is portrayed as a place where trafficking and drug abuse takes place. And here's how Goa government is putting a check to such acts of Puri and others.

For Telugu films it is Puri Jagan and in Hindi movies, there are many directors who actually portrayed Goa as a hub of drug selling, abuse and peddlers. Recently released Malang of Disha Patani also portrayed the most visited tourist state of India in the same way. Taking a strong exception to this, the Goa government has now formulated a committee to look into film scripts before giving a film unit, the permission to shoot in Goa.

From now onwards, Entertainment Society of Goa will look into a script before giving permission to the filmmakers for the shoot. Whether it is Puri Jagan or anyone, they have to first submit the script to shoot freely in the picturesque state.
