Trailer Talk: HIT Reminds Of Recent Incidents

Seems like many filmmakers have taken a cue from Hyderabad's infamous rape incident that shook the whole nation recently. If we have to go by the recent trailer of upcoming film HIT, hero Nani's second production venture, it looks like an intense thriller is woven around that incident.

Featuring Vishwaksen in the lead role as a police officer who suffers from panic attacks while investigation a new case, the film deals with the story of a missing girl who is waiting by her parked car on the highway. The film unravels various twists and turns as the trailer promises and has Vishwaksen doing an intense role. While the narrative looks pretty similar to many of such thriller genre movies, its the cinematography of Manikandan that makes it tad bit interesting.

On the other hand, Vivek Sagar's pulsating background score kept the trailer's pace and made it a good watch. But these type of thriller genre movies need strong backing of the screenplay and should have a novel theme along with superior narration, to connect with the audiences. Hope that newcomer director Sailesh Kolanu has done the needful.

Bankrolled by Nani and Prashanti Triperneni, HIT is hitting cinemas on Feb 28th.
