Bad Days For Love Stories!

Bad Days For Love Stories!

When 2019 is closing, many thought that 'love stories' are missing in Tollywood as only films like Sye Raa and Saaho are entertaining the audiences. But then came a small budgeted movie Rajavaru Ranivaru, a village love story among teens. Then came Raj Tarun's Iddari Lokam Okate as well, which is a remake of a superhit Turkish film. Both the movies flopped.

At a time when film industry folks felt that love stories are missing out at the box office, distributors are worried about the results of those movies. Because even in 2020, love stories haven't opened their credit yet, as the likes of Samantha's Jaanu and Vijay Devarakonda's World Famous Lover failed to click. Even an adulterated film like Degree College that has loads of x-factor didn't click at C centres at the least. At the same time, Pelli Choopulu movie producer's Choosi Choodangane also failed to evince any interest.

So who could make sure that a pure love story without the touch of any comedy dose or glamour treat could work at the box office? We must say that all eyes are looking forward to Sekhar Kammula's "Love Story" that has Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya in the lead. Hope Sekhar turns the bad days for love stories into 'happy days'.
