Megastar's nephew Sai Dharam Tej made debut with Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitam. This film is directed by Yagnam fame AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary.

What is it about?

Seenu (Tej) is madly in love with Shailaja (Regina) and comes to know that she is in danger. A goon called Maisamma (Jagapathi Babu) targets Shailaja for some unknown reason. Seenu confronts Maisamma to save Shailaja.

Sai Dharam Tej: Sai Dharam Tej is a natural talent and is here to stay. He is very good in spite of not having any prior experience in acting. He dances well and has massy looks. He can go places if he makes right choices in his career. He should take care about his styling.

Others: Regina is fine in the role of a serious girl who is in search of someone. Jagapathi Babu is good as Maisamma. He does justice to his character. Prakash Raj has limited screen time and he excels during the climax sequence. Raghu Babu takes the cake on the comedy front. His performance in the scene involving Tagubothu Ramesh is hilarious. Sayaji Shinde is alright. Shafi is apt. All others did their bit.

On the Technical Front:

AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary handled the comedy scenes well. His new style of narration is impressive. He used spaced flashback narrative technique which gives fresh appeal to this film. However there are many hiccups and logical errors in the film that should have been taken care of.

Music by Anup Rubens is fine. Title song is catchy. All the songs have been choreographed well. Background score is also impressive. Dialogues are alright. Cinematography is good. Editing is up to the mark. Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitam is decent on the technical front with everyone putting in good efforts into their respective crafts.

Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitam is a mix of romance, action and comedy. This is a perfect commercial film with political backdrop. Director used the political backdrop to good effect by extracting maximum fun out of it. Climax scenes involving Prakash Raj are hilarious and will surely connect with the masses that follow news channels.

Screenplay is the biggest advantage for this film. Teju narrating his love story to Jagapathi Babu in first half and Jagapathi Babu narrating flashback to Prakash Raj in second half is innovative. Few twists are thrown into the narrative at right intervals besides ample dose of entertainment. PNLJ has everything in it to please all sections of audience.

On the flip side first half of the film is too bland with little entertainment and lots of nonsense. It picks up at the interval point and is pure fun after that. There is so much comedy in the second half to make it a paisa vasool fare. PNLJ stays away from routine action climax and sticks to the entertainment. It is a pretty decent entertainer on a whole and works as a good launch pad for the debutante. It has the potential to score well at the box office.

Verdict: Full Dose of Entertainment
