Pak Claims it Shot Down Indian Drone

A day after claiming to have foiled the plans of an Indian submarine after it entered their waters, Pakistan on Saturday claimed that it shot down an Indian drone after it crossed the Line of Control (LoC), the de-facto border between the two countries.

Pakistan Army spokesman Lt. Gen. Asim Bajwa broke this news by taking to twitter. He claimed that an Indian quad copter had intruded about 60m into the Pakistan side of LoC. He added that the debris of the drone fell in Pakistan.

'Indian Quad Copter has been shot down by Pakistani troops at 1645, had intruded 60 Ms in Pak side of LOC, fell in Pak territory & taken over by Pak troops,' Bajwa tweeted.

This claim of Pakistan was witnessed a day after its navy said it had forcibly pushed an Indian submarine from Pakistani waters. Earlier, they have alleged that Indian army had killed seven of their soldiers. Ever since the Indian Army carried out surgical strikes on militant hubs across the LoC to retaliate the Uri attack, Pakistan continues to make allegations against India and the New Delhi is making sure to deny them.

Indian govt. is yet to respond to this latest Pak claim.
