Shock to Chiru: 300 PRP leaders to quit Congress

A large number of erstwhile PRP leaders who were feeling insecure in the Congress party after the merger of the party are looking at other parties for opportunities. Around 300 leaders were in talks with TDP & YSR Congress, and they might join those parties any time soon.

"The Congress party is giving importance to only Chiranjeevi and ignoring others. Even Chiru is more concerned about his posts and has no time to think about us. There is no future for us in the Congress party," said a senior PRP leader.

On the other hand, both TDP & YSR Congress have been luring the Kapu community leaders with party tickets in the next general elections. Most of these 300 leaders are the ones who lost the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in 2009 on PRP ticket. Vangaveeti Radha, Kotagiri Vidyadhar Rao and Kothapalli Subbarayudu were few of the prominent leaders in the list.

If Chiru can't do anything to his followers, then what can he do to the people? He should focus on the damage control at least now. Or else, his chances of rising to the top in politics could be bleak!
