With little attention to Jagan's Padayatra in Godavari districts, the YSRCP chief has stepped up the dose in his criticism against arch rival Chandrababu Naidu. Jagan, who entered East Godavari district, made shocking comments on Chandrababu.
Stating that Chandrababu is endorsing liquor, Jagan said, "Chandrababu says drink liquor and be happy. Belt shops are everywhere and even present in the villages where mineral water is not available." He even rebuked excise minister KS Jawar's previous remarks that 'beer is health drink'.
"Another minister in Babu's cabinet says beer is a health drink," lamented Jagan.
Talking about fee reimbursements, Jagan said, "While the college fees are in lakhs, Chandrababu government is throwing just Rs 30,000 just like how they throw mushti to beggers." Veering towards ration, Jagan said ration shops are providing nothing except rice. He alleged that Naidu has unkept his promise of paying Rs 2000 every month to unemployed youth.
Jagan said Chandrababu would promise 1 Kg gold to every home and a benz car to every household to lure voters in the coming elections. He said people won't believe in Naidu.
Shockingly, Jagan asked people to demand Rs 5000 from TDP leaders in the coming elections and take money and vote as per their wish.
"If Chandrababu sends his men to your house with Rs 3000, demand for Rs 5000 and take it. But vote as per your wish," said Jagan which raised many eye balls including own party leaders. Jagan is presently touring in Kotipalli of Rajahmundry in East Godavari district. His Padayatra and speeches got lukewarm response from local crowds.
