Met Arun Jaitley Before Leaving, to Settle 'Issues': Vijay Mallya

In a shocking update, Vijay Mallya decided to open up starting with claims to have met Finance minister Arun Jaitley before leaving India to 'settle matters' with 'repeated offers'.

Vijay Mallya fled the country to hide in the UK after he was declared wanted on charges of fraud and money laundering for around Rs 9000 Cr.

While Vijay Mallya's statement about his meeting with Arun Jaitley put a start to huge political storm, Congress and other opposition parties are showing it a proof of corrupted Businessman fleeing the country with the conspiracy of the Government itself.

Arun Jaitley on his Facebook post and Twitter handle rubbished Vijay Mallya's claims of meeting him before fleeing the country, 'the statement is factually false in as much as it does not reflect truth'.

Vijay Mallya told the reporters that he had to leave the country for a scheduled meeting in Geneva and met the finance minister before he left, repeated his offer to settle with the banks. He spoke to reporters outside London's Westminster Magistrates' Court.

Vijay Mallya claims to have made a 'very comprehensive offer' before the Karnataka High Court, so that everybody gets paid!

Rahul Gandhi during his UK visit alleged that Modi government is not serious on Vijay Mallya's extradition and also alleged that the fraudulent Businessman met senior BJP leaders and that he did not want to name them. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal too demanded the Finance minister to respond and he said "Obviously, PM Knew about it".
