Bandla Ganesh, who has recently joined the Congress party in the presence of Rahul Gandhi, is surprisingly the face of the party's campaign in the state. Recently, Bandla has accompanied T-PCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy as part of the poll campaign in Huzurnagar assembly constituency and Bandla said to have been received well by the locals.
Many of Pawan's fans in the constituency said to have welcomed Bandla Ganesh who screamed "Gabbar Singh" producer. Seeing Bandla's craze in masses, Uttam is said to be shocked and has decided to use Ganesh for the poll campaign in other key Assembly constituencies.
While Congress is planning to field Bandla Ganesh from Jubilee Hills assembly constituency that is dominated by people from film industry, TDP is toying with the idea of fielding Nandamuri Hari Krishna's son Nandamuri Kalyan Ram as the candidate of Maha Kutami. If Kalyan Ram gently turns down the offer, Ganesh may turn lucky with the support of Uttam and other Congress leaders.
Maganti Gopinath, who had won from TDP in 2014 and later switched loyalties to TRS, is likely to contest on TRS ticket this time around. Hence, the fight for Jubilee Hills constituency turned interesting.
