Other day there was both applauds and severe criticism as well when TDP supremo and AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu joined hands with Congress boss Rahul Gandhi, indicating the newest alliance we have ever seen. And here comes the worst.
One of the cartoonists of noted daily newspaper has come up with a satirical toon that is hurting legendary NTR's fans to the most. Apparently, the cartoon depicted a view that Naidu has pulled out NTR's clothes (self-respect) and felicitated Rahul Gandhi with it. Even though if the satire is fine, the way NTR is depicted is not well for sure.
Whatever may be one's individual or collective opinion of TDP supporting Congress in the name of Democratic Compulsion, but rendering NTR as a shying-statue in the name of "Statue Of Pity" in reference to "Statue Of Unity" is disgusting. Probably a man of NTR's legacy needs more respected approach than a cheap depiction for the sake of a funny cartoon, fumed NTR's admirers.
Well, satires need some sort of self-censorship, don't they?
