In the midst of TRS Chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao and the party leaders firing salvos at TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, KCR's niece Ramya Rao had met the TDP supremo in Amaravati and expressed interest to join the yellow party in Telangana. However, TDP Chief is said to have rejected Ramya's entry into TDP. Apparently, Chandrababu told Telangana TDP leaders that admitting her into the party will increase his differences with KCR and he doesn't want that to happen.
According to sources, Ramya denied any political discussions with Chandrababu. She said she was in Amaravati to attend a function with her husband. Ramya Rao is married to Madhusudhan Rao, a founding member of the TRS who later fell out of KCR's favour and exited the party. Ramya has been a member of Congress for the past few years. Since the Assembly elections was announced, she has been lobbying with party high command for the Karimnagar Assembly ticket. Her second choice is said to be the Vemulawada ticket.
Going by her efforts in meeting the CM of neighbouring state amid a charged environment, political observers say that this meeting could open the Pandora's Box for the TRS and may be, will expose the infighting within KCR's family! Will Ramya be the key for the Mahakutami to an insight into KCR's family?
