Despite the Congress being main Opposition for Telangana Rashtra Samithi, pink party Chief has directed his party men to target AP Chief Minister and TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu in all their election campaigns. In a private meeting with TRS leader, K. Chandrasekhara Rao is said to have passed these orders in lieu of growing speculations that the alternative front led by Chandrababu is strengthening its foothold against the NDA government.
According to sources, KCR's survey results from areas in Telangana dominated by Seemandhra people have proved that criticism against TDP boss is not affecting voters in these areas. While leaders who have defected from the TDP and Congress have had a difference of opinion on criticising Chandrababu and have asked the TRS High Command not to indulge in intended malice, KCR has informed pink party leaders that their voter base is not affected by such remarks. He has, in fact, asked leaders to increase their attacks on Chandrababu.
Of late, Harish Rao, KTR and other leaders have been criticising Chandrababu as the one who has been working against Telangana's development. Apparently, KCR is also of the opinion that TDP doesn't have favourable voters in Godavari districts and North Coastal Andhra. With survey pointing out that TDP doesn't have a positive effect on Andhra voter base yet, KCR has decided that this party will go ahead with such counter attacks.
