SC dismisses AP High Court separation petition

The supreme court of India has dismissed the petition filed by Andhra Pradesh lawyers who sought extra time in moving to Andhra Pradesh High court.

The bench of judges AK Sekri and Abdul Nazir did not agree with the arguments made by AP lawyers and also said there will not intervene further in this issue.

This brings down all the hopes of AP advocates association which had anticipated for an interim order. The association also tried it's best on New Year to bring in a house-motion as the petition was put-off to January 2nd. The association opined that if the chief justice of AP High Court would not have sworn-in on January 1st things could have been on a positive side.

Praveen Kumar of 1981 Osmania University Law batch had taken oath as chief justice of AP High Court on Tuesday. AP CM Chandrababu and others have attended the swearing ceremony.

The temporary operations of AP High court are underway in camp office Velagapudi.
