Former MP Lagadapati Rajagopal has suspected irregularities in the 2018 Telangana assembly elections. If we go to the past, Lagadapati survey had predicted 'MahaKutami' (grand alliance) victory in the elections but surprisingly TRS has emerged as winners.
Post the results, the TRS leaders criticised Lagadapati for trying influence people of Telangana before elections. Responding to TRS leaders allegations, Lagadapati called on the press in New Delhi.
"My personal image is maligned with TRS leaders allegations. But there are many doubts in the results. VVPAT slips should be counted and why did the state election commission took one and half day to reveal the actual voting percentage? There are also reports that after 5 PM votes were polled in large numbers. The government of Telangana and state election commission should clear these doubts to the people of Telangana," said Lagadapati.
With these experiences, the former Vijayawada MP has said that hereafter he will not reveal any details before the elections. For the upcoming Lok Sabha polls and Assembly elections in AP, he will disclose his survey results only after the polling.
