“I’m Sensitive And I Take Rejection Personal”

Actress Aditi Rao Hydari has a massive fan following, not only for her acting but also for her innocent face and pristine beauty. She looks very calm and is an introvert by nature. However, her interviews also proved that she is fun to be around. Her fans can vouch for how she has a good opinion on almost everyone thus making her beautiful inside and out. The actress has recently admitted in an interview that she is very sensitive and being thick-skinned is almost impossible for her.

Aditi said that she has to face criticism and constant scrutiny in the industry which is pretty common on a daily basis. But she also wants to pass through this world comfortably without dealing with baggage. “People celebrate comparing one another, pulling others as low as possible and criticising perpetually. But I am very sensitive and the thick-skinned thing is hard for me. I feel everything. I will laugh as loudly as I cry and I am okay with that. This is how I am. So, I can have hard days and it is tough, but I feel I always try looking at the silver lining,” said Aditi.

“An actor’s rejection is so personal. They are rejecting you. It is always you. It is so personal. It can be very difficult and it can be very heartbreaking,” she added. She also spoke on being optimistic. “I am the kind of person who will always look for the sunshine whatever dark spot you put me in so if I am having my bad days I will count my blessings. If somebody walks through the door I’ll find five good things about them rather than two things I don’t like about them,” she said.

The actress was last seen in the digitally-released film “The Girl On The Train” and is currently busy with the anthology “Ajeeb Dastaans” and the Tamil rom-com “Hey Sinamika”, directed by Brida. The film also stars Dulquer Salmaan and Kajal Aggarwal.
