Congress leader KVP Ramachandra Rao has made interesting comments on YSRCP chief Jagan and his association with him. 'It's a personal relation like 'Mama-Alludu' but there is nothing to do with politics,' said KVP.
We all know KVP is late YS Rajasekhar Reddy's closest friend and often considered as soulmates. However post YSR's death, Jagan quit Congress and floated his own party. Since then KVP and Jagan are maintaining distance in terms of politics. 'I was friends with YSR before Jagan's birth and my equations with Jagan did not completely go off,' said KVP.
When asked about Jagan coming into Congress led UPA fold, KVP reacted that he had no clue. 'If my Congress High Command asks me to hold talks with Jagan to invite him to UPA, then I will do it without hesitation. But so far none from Congress have approached Jagan,' added KVP.
During elections, Jagan had said that he had forgiven Congress party for its deed and also for deliberately invoking CBI against him. The fresh statement from KVP might suggest that Congress is likely to extend a hand to Jagan if it falls short of the majority and who knows Jagan might be okay with it as he pardoned the party.
