It looks like Telangana government, especially Greater Hyderabad Municipal Commission is leaving no stone unturned to put check to the illegal constructions around the city. After giving a rude shock to Nagarjuna's N-Convention earlier, now director VV Vinayak has got the taste of law.
One of the popular zones in Hyderabad is Vattinagupalli area that is close to the Financial District and also to the airport. However, this area comes under the purview of GO 111 bought by the then Andhra Pradesh's TDP government in 1996, which prevents the construction of high rise buildings as these places within 10 KM radius of some freshwater lakes.
Though director VV Vinayak is officially given permission to construct a two-storeyed building in Gowlidoddi Survey No 22 of Vattinagulapalli, the director has got a six-storeyed building built there. And then, he is said to have failed to respond to the notices given by GHMC regarding the same.
Now, GHMC got the top four floors of the building demolished today without any delay. Officials have revealed that Vinayak hasn't taken any permission for the six floors but he took a letter from Village sarpanch to do it, which is invalid.
