YSRC mind blowing twist in by-polls

In a desperate attempt to sweep the by-polls in 18 Assembly and one parliament constituencies, the YSR Congress party had bribed the polling officers and the agents at several polling stations.

At some of the polling booths, the officers and the agents tried to pressurize the people to cast their vote for YSRC. As soon as the polling started, two teachers who are working as booth agents were caught red handed forcing the voters. Similar incidents were reported in several other polling stations.

As per the surveys, YSR Congress might lose 3-4 by-polls constituencies. Realizing the negative impact on the party if failed to sweep the by-polls despite having the huge sympathy wave for Jagan, YSR-C leaders bribed the polling booth agents in many constituencies apart from distributing currency notes, liquor and sarees to the voters. TDP brought this matter to the notice of EC and also demanded re-polling in Pattipadu of Guntur. How the EC would react on YSR Congress leaders ploy to manipulate the verdict of the people is to be seen.
