Jagan Seeks Exemption To Appear Before Court

It is known that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been appearing before CBI special court every Friday pertaining to the disproportionate assets case.

Since Jagan is busy looking after the administrative affairs of Andhra Pradesh as CM, he wants an exemption from CBI Court. So, the YSRCP Supreme filed a petition seeking to grant him exemption from personal appearance before the court on Friday, to discharge administrative duties as chief minister of state.

Jagan Mohan Reddy, further in his petition, has sought permission to allow his lawyer in his absence. The CBI special Court is expected to take up Jagan's petition on this Friday. In the past, the CBI special court exempted him from personally appearing in the court while election campaign after Jagan filed a petition.
