Another big launch by AP CM YS Jagan

AP CM YS Jagan is giving a lot of importance to agriculture, education and health sectors. In the last few months, Jagan has held many review meetings with officials regarding the health department. In these meetings, it came to Jagan's notice that a majority of people are suffering from malnutrition and also eye sight.

With an aim to find solution for this eye sight problem, the Jagan has initiated the launch of 'Kanti Velugu.' From today, this new scheme will go into effective all over the state. First it will be the school children in government and private schools to undergo primary eye sight tests.

Children who have problem with normal eye sight and other related issues, will be sent to vision centers from November 1st to December 31st. From February 1st, 2020, kids with major eye sight problems will undergo surgery as per the recommendations to be made in their report.

With district collector's supervision, the vision centers will have taskforce committees comprising of 160 program officers and 1415 health department officials. Also Government teachers, Asha workers, INM and health department staff were roped in at Primary Health Centers (PHC) for the 'Dr. YSR Kanti Velugu.'

CM Jagan will launch this scheme in Anantapur government junior college in sometime.
