For Last 13 Years, I Obeyed You - Vamsi Replies Back To Naidu's Letter

The Gannavaram politics are heating up with sitting MLA and TDP leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi's resignation. While YCP's Yarlagadda is all set to meet AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today to discuss future course of action, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has started efforts to bring Vamsi back.

Responding to Vamsi's resignation, Chandrababu Naidu has written a letter asking him to take his resignation back. Naidu promised Vamsi that he and party would stand by him in these tough times. With this, the ball is now in Vamsi's court.

Vallabhaneni Vamsi has thanked Chandrababu Naidu for writing the letter responding to his resignation. Vamsi said for the last 13 years he has just obeyed his leader Chandrababu Naidu. He said he simply listened and followed Chandrababu's instructions. Vamsi said he never had any hidden agenda and has put everything forth in front of party and its leader Chandrababu.

Vamsi said since 2006 he has been following Chandrababu's orders. He said he had even contested as Vijayawada MP in 2009 and lost (Vamsi lost in hands of Lagadapati Rajagopal by a tender margin of 13,000 votes). Vamsi recalled that five crucial years of his political life were wasted. Yet he said he had no regrets as he had followed Chandrababu's instructions. Vamsi went onto say that how he had relentlessly fought a senior leader and an IPS officer who were troubling him. Vamsi said he had fought against undemocratic procedures.

He recalled how his political rivals had mounted pressure on party (TDP) to stop ticket to him in 2019 elections. Yet Vamsi had got the ticket and won in the elections waging against YCP's landslide victory.

Vamsi said he has given his best to party and to his people in the constituency. Vamsi said he doesn't want to continue this matter any further. He thanked Chandrababu Naidu for his support.  Vamsi has posted this letter in social media platforms. With Vamsi's fresh letter, TDP is caught off guard. Looks like, Vamsi may not take his resignation back and this is going to affect the TDP badly in Gannavaram constituency. More details are awaited.
