Already, Vamsi had met Jagan before announcing his resignation and this has added fuel to the ongoing speculations that Vamsi would jump to YCP.

Meanwhile, TDP has intensified its efforts to hold back Vallabhaneni Vamsi. TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu who had extended the party's full support to Vamsi, has given the task to Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani and former MP Konakalla Narayana Rao to convince Vamsi.

Kesineni Nani had met Chandrababu today afternoon and briefed him the situation. Later, senior leaders of district Devineni Uma, Kollu Ravindra, MLCs Buddha Venkanna, Arjunudu, Paruchuri Ashok Babu have met Chandrababu and discussed on prevailing political conditions. TDP leaders informed Chandrababu that Vallabhaneni Vamsi had already made up his mind and he is unable to reach as he is in Hyderabad. Nani informed Naidu that he has sent message to Vamsi but Vamsi is not responsive. Kesineni Nani is trying to meet Vamsi on Tuesday evening after he returns to Vijayawada from Hyderabad.
