TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu met party MLAs, MPs and MLCs at his residence in Amaravati on Friday. In this meeting, a discussion about Vallabhaneni Vamsi's comments took place and after that the party decided to suspend Vamsi.

When the media confronted Vallabhaneni and asked about his suspension news, he questioned when he resigned what is the point of suspending him from the party. "If few more leaders like me are suspended from TDP, then there will be no one around Chandrababu. If the TDP chief has so much courage, he should demand for suspension of Rajya Sabha MPs who changed the party. Can he dare to protest at Modi and Amit Shah's residences in Delhi?" asked Vamsi.

Earlier in the day, Vamsi reached the Commissioner of Police office in Vijayawada and complained against TDP social media wing that his images are being morphed and making degrading posts against him.
