TSRTC JAC proposes to end strike!

The Telangana RTC JAC has proposed to end the strike if the Telangana government creates an atmosphere for employees to re-join their services. JAC convener Ashwathama Reddy has called on the media and responded on the High Court's decision which transferred the case to Labour Court.

"We respect the Telangana High Court's decision and the Labour Court has two weeks time to look into our demands. The government should immediately respond on the demands and place them before the Labour Court. We are hopeful that our demands will be met at Labour court," said Ashwathama Reddy.

Later he announced that TSRTC is ready to end the strike. "The government should unconditionally take back the employees and for this they should create Oct 4th sort of circumstances. If the government continues to ignore us, we would continue the strike without any second thought," stated Ashwathama Reddy.

TSRTC strike in its 48 days and not even a single day, the government has called for talks. With the High Court giving up, RTC had no choice rather than to call off the protest.
