Thanks Galla, Reddy! 'Amaravati is Back in Map'

Andhra Pradesh's dream capital Amaravati, which was missing in the previous political map released by the Centre courting a major controversy, has finally been updated. Thanks to TDP MP Galla Jayadev's relentless efforts, the Centre has included Amaravati in the map and released the revised map.

Confirming the development, Minister of State (Home Affairs) Kishan Reddy posted on his social media page, "Taking note of the issue of Amaravati missing from the map, raised by MPs of AP in the Parliament yesterday, I took up the matter with those concerned. The error has been rectified. Here is the revised map of India." Kishan Reddy has tagged TDP's Galla Jayadev and YCP's Mithun Reddy in the post.

Earlier, Opposition TDP had blamed Jagan government for creating confusion around capital. It alleged that YCP's acts had led to the non-inclusion of Amaravati in the map. Interestingly, state BJP leaders had blamed both TDP and YCP for this glaring mistake. After the political blame game, finally, the Centre has rectified its mistake and released a fresh map.
