Delhi goes to vote on February 8th

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced the polling date of New Delhi assembly and the national capital will vote on February 8th. ECI chief Sunil Arora has called on the media and informed the details of the elections.

There are a total of 1,46,92,136 voters in New Delhi and for this the ECI has finalised 13,750 polling booths to vote. About 90,000 officials are likely to take part in the election duty and ECI chief has announced that the model code of conduct will come into effective right away. The results will be declared on February 11th.

Aam Admi Party and CM Arvind Kejriwal will be testing their luck yet again. The BJP wants to dethrone Kejriwal but it will be a tough task at the present scenario as the saffron party is in bad books because of beating up students who were protesting against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

The Congress may not give any sort of competition to AAP or BJP. All in all, AAP is most likely to get second term to rule Delhi.
