I am happy for the situation in Andhra Pradesh: Revanth Reddy

Farmers of Amaravati are protesting against CM Jagan Mohan Reddy's three-capital proposal from last 25 days. Besides agitating for justice, the farmers wrote many letters to PM Narendra Modi, President Ramnath Kovind, Home Ministers Amit Shah and Kishan Reddy seeking their intervention. Situation turned violent after villagers in Amaravati have resorted to section 144 and Police restrictions in capital region.

After opposition parties in AP declared full support to Amaravati farmers, they also have received support of film industry people like Ashwini Dutt, Nara Rohith, Singer Smitha and others. Now, Telangana Congress MP and former TDP leader Revanth Reddy has reacted to it saying: "As a Telangana person, I am happy for the situation in Andhra Pradesh. But, it pains me when I look at it as a citizen of India."

Adding further, the Lok Sabha representative of Malkajgiri constituency said "the current AP politics will collapse the state in no time and it is a conspiracy to benefit a real estate baron in Telangana. On other hand, TDP is also staging protests in support of farmers while Jana Sena chief headed to New Delhi to seek intervention of national leaders.
