Box Office: Masses and Families Are Completely Divided

In recent times, Sankranthi season has become completely one-sided with audiences of all types backing only one particular movie. When biggies lost their grip, some small films and movies of senior star heroes turned out to be sensational hits. But this year, 2020, it is going to be different forever.

This year, we have two biggies, Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru and Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo hitting cinemas. These two movies are unique for their heroes, directors and music as well. Generally when two biggies come, if one is a bit better than the other, surely the other one picks up hugely. And audiences from all quarters will be embracing the result.

But now, while masses are getting enthralled by Mahesh's 'oora mass' avatar in Sarlieru, family audiences are rushing to Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo to catch up Bunny's newest avatar with a different hairstyle and subtle performance topped by terrific emotions. This is the first time that audiences got divided during the festival season between two movies.

On the other hand, Sarileru Neekevvaru should collect nearly 103+ crores share from the box office to push its distributors into profits, while Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo should pocket around 88+ crores for the same.
