Chandrababu Welcomes 'BJP-Jana Sena' Dosti

In his first reaction on the BJP and Jana Sena new friendship, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has welcomed it but said that the alliance will be meaningful only if it succeeds in stalling the YSRCP government's plans to shift capital, Amaravati.

Chandrababu took part in a rally in West Godavari district organized by Amaravati Parirakshna Samithi and addressing the gathering, he said there is no point of alliance, if BJP and Jana Sena fear YSRCP political game and go back to their places without fighting.

"People of Amaravati should revolt, then the government will go back on its decision. Also Vizag people are in fear that their lands will be grabbed by YSRCP leaders in the name of capital. This government has no right to change the capital," said Chandrababu.

The TDP boss questioned where are the NGOs now. "During the Telangana bifurcation process, NGOs fought for united Andhra Pradesh. Now they are nowhere to be seen and what are they doing when the government is hurrying up the process of shifting the capital. I wonder why they are absolutely silent when farmers are protesting every day," asked Chandrababu.
