Online Poll: 67.5% feel Jagan's capital decision is bad

The 3-capital announcement of Andhra CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has triggered nation-wide debate and several media journalists presented their views on the proposal. According to an online poll conducted by a leading Hindi news channel, about 67.5% of netizens feel that CM Jagan's decision to create three seperate capitals is not a good idea, while 29% say the Jagan has support in favour of three capitals (executive capital in Visakhapatnam, legislative in Amaravati and judicial capital in Kurnool).

The three-capital bill was halted in legislative council as Chairman M A Sharrif has referred it to the select committee. Earlier this week, the bill was approved by legislative assembly.

On other hand, opposition parties in Andhra are intensifying the fight against government. While Telugu Desham Party is already fighting on streets, Jana Sena & Bharatiya Janata Party gave a call for Long March on 2nd February to support the Amaravati farmers fight.
