Just 70 days in Amaravati: CM Jagan

AP CM YS Jagan who is in the national capital to meet union ministers, spoke to the Telugu journalists on Friday night. In this meeting, Jagan made interesting comments about Amaravati.

The previous TDP government had planned to set up journalists housing society in Amaravati and for this, the journalists have paid Rs 23,000 to then government. Regarding the same journalists have requested CM Jagan to allot lands in the housing society. In his reply, Jagan said, "Amaravati is Legislative Capital and I would stay there only 70 days. Why do you want lands in Amaravati now."

However, the journalists did not like the tone in which Jagan replied. Then a journalist countered him by saying, "You are staying in Amaravati itself right!" To this Jagan said he would consider if anyone approaches with a request letter.

That makes a lot clear that Jagan is not going to go back on the 'Three Capitals.' On Saturday Jagan met Union Law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and discussed about the factors of shifting AP High Court to Kurnool. Regarding the same, Jagan has already informed PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
