TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu took pot-shots at the public for voting YSRCP into government in the last general elections. Kick-starting the Jana Chaitanya Yatra in Paruchur constituency of Prakasham district, Chandrababu said, "You (people) wanted to give one chance and voted YSRCP to power and now repenting for what you have done in just nine months."

Criticizing the YSRCP government Babu further said, "Since Jagan took oath as CM, AP has lost Rs 1.80 Lakh crore of investments. From Reliance to Adani to Lulu Group, many investors left AP." About the 75 percent reservations to locals, the TDP chief questioned when the investors are not coming forward, what is the point of having reservation. In case if Andhra people are going to other states, there people are sending us back to work here.

On Amaravati, Chandrababu asked why Jagan is so hell bent to shift the capital. "Just to take revenge against, Jagan is trouble the people especially the farmers of Amaravati. Till date the CM did react on farmers protest," said Naidu.

Regarding decreasing security to him, he said, "I'm not bothered about my personal security. People are there to protect me."
