Liquor Kingpin says no to Alcohol

PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana demanding the prohibition of Alcohol in the state has become a big discussion in political circles. While CM Kiran Kumar Reddy has introduced a new liquor policy with lucky draw system, the PCC chief took up the anti-liquor campaign.

When the Anti Corruption Bureau swung into action to nab the key persons behind the liquor syndicate, Botsa's name surfaced as he was the kingpin in this mafia. Several liquor shops were owned by the family members of this Congress leader. With media highlighting his role in syndicates, he himself had revealed that his close relatives had 31 liquor shops in his native Vijayanagaram district.

Responding to PCC Chief's statement, Opposition parties said that Botsa talking about prohibition of alcohol is just like devils preaching vedas. They even demanded the PCC chief to make CM Kiran withdraw all the liquor notifications issued till now, if he is committed to what he has commented.
