Over the last few days TRS and Congress leaders are indulging in verbal war on farmers’ issue. Due to non-seasonal rains, at places like Karimangar, Warangal and Nizamabad, the grains got washed away and millers were not buying wet grains. The opposition Congress party visited a few places and learned about the plight of farmers and how millers are looting them.

Telangana CM KCR has reacted on Congress leaders allegations that TRS government is not bothered about farmers’ concerns and demanded to buy the entire crop for the best price.

Speaking KCR said, “Is there any government in the country that has bought 100 percent crop for the entire season? It’s only Telangana government has bought and is still buying crops like lentils, sunflower, corn and wheat from farmers. In the Indian history no government has bought such varieties of crops from farmers and it’s only TRS government. No government will dare to do so even though they give statements to farmers.”

Adding, KCR said, the opposition leaders have no clue about the crops and are trying to make non-issue into an issue. I urge farmers not to fall in the trap of opposition leaders. Congress and BJP are there in many states. In Chhattisgarh, Congress is in power and their leader Rahul Gandhi said, the Congress government would give Rs 2,500 on rice grains for farmers. But they are giving only Rs 800 to Rs 1,000 which is totally against what they have said. That’s why I call opposition leaders as buffoons and jokers and I will stand by it.

The Telangana CM also clarified about Rythu Bhima and Rythu Bandhu. “Till KCR and TRS government is there, Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bhima will not be stopped. I request media to also note this and put an end to all the speculations about these schemes. We are also providing 24 hours power for agriculture. TRS government is the most positive and farmer friend government,” said KCR.

Looks like the oppositions got full reply from Telangana CM KCR on farmers issues.
