Chandrababu Naidu Government is starting 62 new Anna Canteens in Rural areas from today. There are 204 Anna Canteens in Muncipalities and Corporations and three in Rural areas right now. With these 62, the total will go up to 269. The CM will start these by inaugurating an Anna Canteen in Dharanikota, Pedakoorapadu constituency.
In light of the summer holidays, TTD plans to suspend VIP Darshan and Slotted Sarva Darshan tokens starting May 1st. Currently, 2 to 3 hours are allocated daily for VIP Darshan, during which only 3,800 VIPs are able to have Darshan. If this same time slot were instead allocated to common devotees, as many as 15,000 people would have Darshan.
