A 28 year old software engineer named Vinay Kumar from Andhra Pradesh drowned in a pond near Attibele on the outskirts of Bengaluru. He went for swimming with friends on Saturday. Unfortunately, he was washed away due to the flow. Police and rescue teams launched the search and recovered his body on Sunday. Jigani police are investigating the case.

The Flydubai co-pilot accused of attacking Captain Smit Machchhar during a Tel Aviv-bound flight has reportedly been identified as Omani national Hamam al-Hammami. CNN, citing sources, reported that he had earlier been removed from flying duties at Oman Air over concerns about his alleged extremist views. He later joined Flydubai and had worked there for around eight months.

Five Indian crew members were rescued from a Kuwait-flagged oil tanker MT Kazimah III after it got hit by a projectile while sailing through the Strait of Hormuz. A passenger caused utter panic on an IndiGo flight taking off from Shamshabad airport to Kadapa on Thursday night. Right as the plane was taking off, he unintentionally touched the emergency exit. A picnic turned into a tragedy for a group from Pune. Eight Class 11 and 12 students drowned on Thursday after going into the sea at Diveagar beach in Raigad district.
