India's most famous woman motorcyclist dies

In a tragic road accident, a 44-year-old India's most famous woman motorcyclist died in Vidisha district of Madya Pradesh on Monday.

Veenu Paliwal, who is better known for driving Harley Davidson bikes at 180 kmph, was died after her bike skid off near Gyaraspur.

She was rushed to a near by hospital but doctors declared her brought dead with a head injury. She was on a national wide tour on her Harley Davidson bike and was heading for Bhopal from Lucknow at the time of the mishap. Veena, a resident of Jaipur, was accompanied with a friend Dipesh Tanwar on another motorcycle.

The post-mortem was conducted at the Vidisha district hospital on Tuesday morning and her family and friends in Jaipur, Indore and Mumbai have been informed, police said.

"When the going gets tough, the tough get going." This was the last Facebook post of Veena Paliwal. Soon after the news of her death spread, Veena's hash tag started trending on Twitter.
