Ozone Can Neutralise Covid-19: Study

Scientists across the globe are working round the clock to prepare a vaccine for the pandemic Covid-19. The development of vaccine is in various stages and it would take considerable time to come up with a full-fledged vaccine.

In this time, Japanese researchers have found a breakthrough. Scientists at Fujita Health University in their latest research have come to a conclusion that Ozone gas could kill the virus. Ozone, a type of oxygen molecule, is known to inactivate many pathogens. But concentration levels of Ozone should be between 0.05 to 0.1 parts per million (ppm) and this is harmless to humans.

However, the scientists are working on the complete study before they can get a nod from the government authorities.

Coming to the cases in India, 75,760 new positive cases are reported. This is for the first time India has gone past the 70K mark and directly touch the 75K mark. Also the total cases in the country has gone past the 33 Lakh mark.

The total cases tally in the country rises to 33,10,235 including 7,25,991 active cases and 25,23,772 cured. 1023 people have died in the last 24 hours and the total death count is 60,472 deaths.
