In the middle of a pandemic, a Mumbaikar wanted to meet his girlfriend and approached the police, saying that he is missing her. The reply from Mumbai police is winning the hearts!
The police will allow those who furnish proper details for their emergency needs. Basing on that, a Mumbaikar posted, “@MumbaiPolice what sticker should I use in order to go out and meet my girlfriend? I miss her”
Mumbai Police quoted the tweet and wrote, “We understand it’s essential for you sir but unfortunately it doesn’t fall under our essentials or emergency categories! Distance makes the heart grow fonder & currently, you healthier. P.S. We wish you lifetime together. This is just a phase. #StayHomeStaySafe”
It is nice of Mumbai Police to come up with a tweet as such. However, the reply to the police’s tweet is a mix of both good and bad. A few appreciated the police for their sensible reply while a few have criticized them for not be able to respond to other important and emergency requests.
Maharashtra government has released new guidelines of lockdown in the state from 22nd midnight to the morning of May 1st. Maharashtra is one of the states in the country to see a surge in the number of COVID-19 cases, every single day.
